Jonathan McKenna

Associate Attorney

Growing up, Jonathan McKenna watched his father practice law for over 40 years, inspiring him to follow a similar path. After graduating from the University of Tampa with a marketing degree, he headed to law school to make his dream a reality.

In 2023, he graduated from Ohio Northern University College of Law, becoming a second-generation Polar Bear just like his dad. That same year, he passed the bar exam and was admitted to practice law in South Carolina.

Beyond his professional goals, Jonathan’s family has shaped who he is today. Raised as a triplet with adopted twin sisters, he experienced firsthand the joys and challenges of adoption. Seeing his parents welcome his sisters sparked his interest in family law. He knew he wanted to help other families navigate complex legal issues.

Though he’s a long way from his hometown of Orlando, Florida, Jonathan now calls South Carolina home. He relocated to The Palmetto State to be closer to family after finishing law school.

Outside the office, you’ll find him hiking, golfing, rooting for his college football teams, and spending downtime with his girlfriend and their two cats, Tillman and Ellie. He looks forward to providing legal guidance to South Carolina families in the years ahead.
